The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations are set to be revealed on January 8th, with Joey King and Cooper Koch announcing the nominees. This year, the SAG Awards will also recognize Outstanding Action Performances in a Stunt Ensemble, a first for major awards ceremonies.
SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher will announce the full nominations following the initial presentation. The nominations will be exclusively streamed on Netflix’s YouTube channel at 10:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. PT. The SAG Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Netflix on February 23 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
Hosted by Kristen Bell, the ceremony will honor Jane Fonda with the Life Achievement Award. This partnership with Netflix began in 2023 and has been successful, with plans to continue streaming the ceremony globally in the future.
The SAG Awards, which began in 1995, celebrate the best in motion picture and television performances and have the largest voting body of any awards show, with over 122,000 members. Moving to Netflix has allowed for broader viewership and enhanced recognition for the talented actors in the industry.
