“Blemish, you don’t even like music!” “Who ever said that?” Time for something a little bit cool and lots of enjoyable. The Quarry is an 11- min animated short film funny made by the illustrator/ computer animation filmmaker Graham Mason based in New York City. it was initially developed for Grownup Swim Smalls, their short movies rotate- off including all sort of goofy, odd developments. The Quarry is called a “soap opera about rocks” though it’s a lot more of a comedy about rocks operating at a quarry. Among them attempts to ask out his carbon monoxide- employee on a day, and points do not go as prepared. Including the voices of Brad Howe, Matthew Maher, Elegance Rex, and Peter Smith. It likely will not be developed into a primetime comedy anytime quickly, yet it’s an enjoyable getaway right into the goofy globe of rocks attempting to, uh, have a strong life. I chuckled one of the most at the rock key-board at the beginning.
