The Berlinale Series Market has announced its 2025 lineup, showcasing 17 international series as part of its Market Selects program. These diverse productions hail from 13 countries and cover a wide range of genres, from crime thrillers to biopics to dark comedies. Some notable titles include “Sunny Nights,” an Australian/U.S. series starring Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden, and “Concrete Utopia,” a spin-off series from a hit action film.
The Berlinale Series Market will take place from Feb. 16-19 as part of the Berlin Film Festival‘s European Film Market (EFM). The Market Selects projects will be screened at Berlin‘s CinemaxX and the EFM’s Gropius Bau location. Additionally, the EFM will host the 11th edition of its Co-Pro Series pitch event, featuring ten new projects seeking production partners.
The lineup includes a variety of series from different countries, including Portugal, Poland, Spain, Canada, Brazil, Norway, South Korea, Greece, Estonia, Ukraine, France, Iceland, and New Zealand. Each series offers a unique and engaging storyline, promising a fresh and exciting viewing experience for audiences around the world.
Furthermore, the event will spotlight Spain as the EFM’s Country in Focus, presenting four series in development to potential co-producers.
