Tracy Morgan fell ill while attending the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. Videos and photos shared online showed Morgan getting sick in his courtside seat, with witnesses stating he vomited on the floor. He was then wheeled out of the arena holding a stained white towel to his face. Reports suggest his nose may have been bleeding during the incident.
The incident occurred during the third quarter of the game, causing a 10-minute delay as Morgan received assistance. A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden expressed well-wishes for Morgan’s speedy recovery and hopes to see him back at future games.
Despite being a dedicated Knicks fan, Morgan’s representatives have not commented on the incident. The actor has faced health issues in the past, including a collapse at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012 due to exhaustion and altitude. He later revealed he had received a kidney transplant due to his diabetes two years prior.
In 2014, Morgan was involved in a serious car accident with a Walmart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike, resulting in a coma, broken leg, and the loss of his friend James McNair. Despite these challenges, Morgan recently returned to the Saturday Night Live studio for the show’s 50th anniversary celebration.
