Prime Video is set to showcase the multi-talented comedian Tom Green in three exciting projects launching later this January. As part of a slate of Canadian content for Prime Video, the Amazon-owned streaming platform will unveil a stand-up special, a feature documentary directed by Green himself, and an unscripted series showcasing his life on a 100-acre farm in Ontario. These projects will be available to Prime subscribers worldwide.
The first project to debut on January 24 is “This Is the Tom Green Documentary,” which delves into Green’s early life, his comedy career beginnings in Canada, his MTV stardom in the ’90s and early 2000s, and his return to living on a farm in Canada.
Following this is “Tom Green Country,” an unscripted series premiering on January 31 that follows Green’s day-to-day life on a farm with a variety of farm animals. Sandwiched between these two releases is “Tom Green: I Got a Mule!”, a stand-up special recorded during Green’s recent North American tour.
All three projects were directed by Tom Green himself, with executive production handled by his production company, Tom Green Productions Canada, along with Rory Rosegarten. This Is the Tom Green Documentary was produced by Jack Turner and Leah Culton Gonzalez of Matador Content’s Boat Rocker. Stay tuned for these exciting and entertaining projects featuring the comedic genius, Tom Green.
