At the 2025 Annie Awards, The Wild Robot dominated by winning a total of nine awards, including the coveted best feature award. This DreamWorks Animation title secured nominations in 10 categories, with two nominations in the same category.
The Producers Guild Award for outstanding producer of animated theatrical motion pictures was also won by The Wild Robot on Saturday night. Additionally, the Critics Choice Awards recognized it as the best animated feature on Friday night.
Other films that received multiple awards from the International Animated Film Society ASIFA-Hollywood include Flow and Orion and the Dark, both taking home two awards each. Flow won in the categories of best feature – independent and best writing – feature.
Both Flow and The Wild Robot are contenders for the prestigious Oscar for best animated feature, alongside Inside Out 2, Memoir of a Snail, and Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
In the realm of TV, Arcane emerged as the big winner, securing victories in all seven categories it was nominated in. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Dream Productions also won two awards each.
