The Weeknd is gearing up to release a new album titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow” on Jan. 24, with a special one-night-only concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California the following day. This album marks the final chapter in the singer’s trilogy, following the success of “Dawn FM” in 2022 and “After Hours” in 2020. Three tracks have already been released from the upcoming album, including “Dancing In the Flames,” “São Paulo” featuring Anitta, and “Timeless” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The concert at the Rose Bowl promises to showcase never-before-seen production, with the stage taking over the entire floor of the stadium for an immersive in-the-round experience. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. PST on TheWeeknd.com. This performance is being produced by Live Nation and follows The Weeknd’s successful one-night-only show at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 7.
The Weeknd recently made history as the first artist to have 22 songs with over one billion streams each on Spotify. With seven No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including hits like “Blinding Lights,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Starboy,” and “The Hills,” he has solidified his status as a chart-topping artist. Despite boycotting the Grammys since 2021, he received a best melodic rap performance nomination at the 2025 show for his collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin on “We Still Don’t Trust You.” In 2022, he won the same category for his feature on Kanye West’s “Hurricane.”
