Reality star James Kennedy, also known as James Kennedy Georgiou, from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, was arrested on Tuesday night for a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, following an argument with a woman. The incident caused him to be booked at his home in Burbank, California, after attending a holiday party hosted by Kathy Hilton of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
According to reports, James Kennedy was inebriated and grabbed the woman during the argument, leading to his arrest. Witnesses claimed he was acting aggressively and erratically throughout the night, causing concern among party-goers. While there were no visible injuries on the woman, formal charges are pending from the Burbank City Attorney’s office.
It is uncertain if the woman involved is his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, who appeared unfazed at a party the next day. Kennedy, known to have struggled with substance abuse, has had his drinking negatively impact his relationship with Lewber in the past.
Vanderpump Rules will be returning for Season 12 without James Kennedy in the cast. Kennedy was released from jail on a $20,000 bail following the incident.
