“Queen of the Ring” is an upcoming film starring Emily Bett Rickards as Mildred Burke, a pioneering female wrestler. The movie premiered at the 2024 Buffalo Film Festival and is set for release in March 2025. It tells the true story of Mildred Burke, the first million dollar female athlete and champion pro-wrestler who challenged the ban on women’s wrestling in America. The film features an ensemble cast including Josh Lucas, Francesca Eastwood, Tyler Posey, and more.
