Hugh Jackman started his concert series at Radio City Music Hall with a surprise appearance from Ryan Reynolds. The show featured songs from Jackman’s career, including hits from The Greatest Showman.
Reynolds, who starred with Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine, joined Jackman on stage during the “Ask Me Anything” section of the concert. He praised Jackman’s kindness and professionalism on set, calling him “the best human being I know.”
The crowd was thrilled to see Reynolds sitting in the audience next to director Shawn Levy. Fans clamored for photos before the show began.
Jackman’s set included songs from The Greatest Showman, The Music Man, Les Misérables, and The Boy From Oz. He also led the audience in a rendition of “Sweet Caroline” in homage to his upcoming film, Song Sung Blue.
Originally planned as a 12-show series, the concert has been expanded to 24 performances running through October. Jackman, known for his work on both stage and screen, expressed gratitude to the audience for their support.
