RS, a global industrial product and service solutions provider, has achieved a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRCF) 2025 Corporate Equality Index. This index is the nation’s leading benchmarking survey that measures corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. RS is one of 765 U.S. businesses recognized with the HRCF’s Equality 100 Award as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion. This year’s CEI includes 1,449 businesses, the highest number since the index began in 2002.
“We are thrilled to have earned our first Equality 100 Award,” said D’Mar Phillips, Vice President, People, and Culture – RS Americas. “This achievement highlights the successful expansion of RS policies and benefits that support our LGBTQ+ team members. Creating an inclusive environment where everyone can bring their best selves to work is fundamental to our success. We remain dedicated to listening, learning, and growing to ensure our employees are heard, represented, and respected at work.”
The CEI rates employers on criteria falling under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
The results of the 2025 CEI demonstrate how U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ+ friendly workplace policies both in the U.S. and internationally. A record-breaking 98% of CEI businesses have non-discrimination protections specific to gender identity. The CEI now surveys 1,449 participants, further showcasing the significant growth of the index from its first year with 319 participants.
