Heather and Dr. Terry Dubrow have no shame in bragging about their latest real estate purchase – no matter what fans’ have to say.
Less than one year since selling Château Dubrow, the reality television couple has purchased a massive $16 million mansion in Beverly Hills. According to Page Six, the 9,000-square-foot place sits on 8.2 acres of land. It has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a huge grand foyer, a formal dining area, a private tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, and a large deck space. Damn! And although Heather and Terry feel the new property is a bit of a fixer-upper, it’s still absolutely stunning! You can see a video of the place (below):
WOW!
The Real Housewives of Orange County star confirmed the exciting news of their real estate venture on Instagram Tuesday. She posted a picture of herself with the Barbie head shot with the words, “This Barbie is building her next dream house,” across the top. She also wrote in the caption:
“BREAKING NEWS ! Watch out Beverly Hills, The Dubrow dream house is officially underway! Lots of house updates to come from Heather and ‘Just Terry’ … We are so excited to redo this legendary home ( should take about 3 years …) Use the comments to let me know if you want to watch the process and what specifically you’re interested in! #LIVEYOURDREAM”

Well, unfortunately for Heather, these fans don’t seem to be interested in celebrating her new purchase or seeing any home renovation content anytime soon! Some have taken to the comments section of the post to blast the Bravo personality for seemingly boasting about her and Terry’s wealth, even calling her “out of touch.” See some of the reactions (below):
“I’m sorry but many are out here trying to survive with over priced housing and groceries, we really don’t need to see more rich people buying and renovating million dollar properties. So sad this is where we are in America.”
“This Barbie is tone death, out of touch and pretentious.”
“Most unrelatable person on tv.”
“Hard pass, we get it, you’re rich”
“So many things are out of touch with this post… I can’t”
“Sick of these super wealthy people pushing what they have in your face!”
“Imagine actually thinking people want to watch your mega-mansion being built while the majority of them struggle to pay their freaking bills. The hubris.”
Isn’t part of the reason fans love the escapism the Housewives provide? It’s all about watching people living a lavish lifestyle, right? And did anyone really expect her not to talk about her latest extravagant home purchase — whether it be on social media or on the show? This is Heather Dubrow we’re talking about here…
Despite there being plenty of hate in the comments section, there were people who defended the That’s Life alum and expressed interest in her project:
“I want to watch the entire process!!!! CONGRATS DUBROWS!!!”
“Yesss can’t wait to watch the process!! Kitchen, outdoor space and bathrooms will be my fav to see”
“Heck yes I want to watch the process—everything you’re willing to share!”
“Can we please get an entire show dedicated to the whole process?! I would watch every week”
“Her construction work and revocations will be putting money back into her community too. She’s creating a three year job where likely many people will be paid for their time, skills, work and supplies. Hopefully her reno will give someone the stability of a great job for three years. If they do a great job, I’m sure the company’s name will be passed along to her friends and followers. She gets something fabulous and others will benefit as well. There’s always a positive to find”
And of course, there were plenty of fans wondering if this means we’ll be seeing Heather transition onto The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the future. The pair’s response to that? Despite recently selling their residence in Orange County and purchasing the new place, the Dubrows are here to stay on RHOC! Well, for now, at least! Terry told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast:
“She knows a lot of the Beverly Hills Housewives. But our roots are in Orange County. My practice is in Orange County.”
Phew! What do you think about the matter, Perezcious readers? Do you feel Heather was being “out of touch” and bragging about her home? Or do you think fans in the comments were overreacting? Sound OFF in the comments below.
