Billie Eilish has been making waves at The Forum since 2020, with her most recent five-night run marking a triumphant return to her hometown of Los Angeles. The Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour kicked off on Sunday, Dec. 15, with different opening acts each night, including The Marías, Towa Bird, Nat and Alex Wolff, Ashnikko, and Finneas. Eilish, who is up for seven Grammy nominations, will head to Australia after the North American leg of the tour wraps up in L.A.
One of the highlights of Eilish’s Forum performances was the debut of trippy and experimental visuals that added a cinematic feel to her live show. From incorporating visual backdrops to performing “Birds of a Feather” with a video backdrop of her skipping through a field of grass, Eilish’s attention to detail and creativity shined through.
During her set, Eilish was joined on stage by childhood friends Jane and Ava, who served as background singers for part of the show. The trio shared a special moment with the crowd, reflecting on their friendship that dates back to middle school.
Eilish also used her platform to advocate for abortion rights, with her song “TV” serving as a rallying cry for the cause. The singer has been vocal about her support for Vice President Kamala Harris and encouraged her fans to vote during a stop on her tour.
Celebrities like Charli XCX and Kim Kardashian were spotted at Eilish’s Forum performances, adding to the star-studded atmosphere of the shows. Eilish even took a moment to celebrate her 23rd birthday during one of the concerts, with her brother Finneas leading the crowd in singing Happy Birthday.
As Eilish continues her run at The Forum on Dec. 20 and 21, fans can expect more memorable moments and performances from the talented singer.
