The 2025 BRIT Awards were held today (March 1) at London’s O2 Arena, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall. The event showcased performances from Sabrina Carpenter, JADE, and The Last Dinner Party, with Teddy Swims, Myles Smith, Lola Young, Sam Fender, Ezra Collective, and Jorja Smith also gracing the stage. Charli XCX emerged as the top winner of the night, walking away with five awards, including Song of the Year, Best Dance Act, Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year. Witness the captivating performances from the night below.
Sabrina Carpenter opened the show with a spectacular performance that featured Buckingham Palace guards in formation and Union Jack flags adorning the stage. She flawlessly blended “Espresso” with “Rule Britannia” before surprising the audience with a boudoir-themed rendition of the track “Bed Chem,” clad in shimmering red lingerie atop a heart-shaped platform. Carpenter showcased her impressive vocal range and ended the performance by playfully flirting with one of the guards. Later in the evening, she was presented with the BRITs Global Success award by Diana Ross.
Teddy Swims brought a whimsical touch to his medley of recent hits with a surreal setup that included white furniture adorned with cartoon doodles, a leather-clad dancer sporting a lamb headpiece, and a life-size bear perched on a cloud above the band. Swims wowed the audience with performances of “Bad Dreams,” “The Doors,” and “Lose Control,” the latter of which set the stage ablaze as he showcased his versatility as an artist.
