Peloton has ventured into new territory with the launch of their latest offering, Peloton Strength+. This new iOS-exclusive app provides Peloton subscribers with access to audio-guided strength workouts that can be done at the gym.
The beta version of the app was tested in September, leading to the development of features such as the ability to bookmark custom workouts and switch movements. The final version includes a workout generator based on time, experience level, and equipment availability, along with instructional videos and in-ear coaching. Users can also connect the app to their Apple Watch to track metrics like heart rate and calories burned.
In response to changing consumer preferences post-pandemic, Peloton has been striving to adapt their offerings. Peloton Strength+ aims to cater to those who may not be interested in Peloton hardware but still want access to their popular fitness instructors.
For a limited time, Peloton Strength+ is available for $1 per month for the first six months, with a regular subscription rate of $9.99 per month. Existing Peloton subscribers can access Strength+ at no additional cost.
As Peloton looks to expand their market beyond hardware sales, investing in subscriptions like Strength+ may prove to be a smart move for the future. If you make a purchase through the links in this article, we may earn a commission.
