Legendary actress Jacqueline Bisset, actor/director Jack Huston, and songwriter Diane Warren are set to be honored guests at the opening ceremony of the 20th Los Angeles, Italia Film, Fashion, and Art Festival on Sunday, Feb. 23. The event will take place at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood and will also celebrate Sergio Castellitto, Pupi Avati, Antonio Avati, and Marco Belardi. A retrospective will be dedicated to Castellitto, and a special screening of Roberto Rossellini’s 1954 film Journey to Italy will be shown in honor of Isabella Rossellini, who is nominated for an Oscar for her supporting performance in Conclave.
The festival will feature over 120 screenings, including 30 U.S. premieres, in Hollywood and on the platform eventi.org. Special honors will be given to Castellitto and Conclave director Edward Berger on Monday, Feb. 24. Additionally, Italian Oscar nominees Rossellini and set decorator Cynthia Sleiter will be recognized at the Italian Cultural Institute on Friday, Feb. 28.
