Nicholas Hoult is opening up about his response to listening to on the radio that Robert Pattinson was solid as Batman in Matt Reeves‘ 2022 film, nevertheless, he was auditioning for the function the following weekend.

Why not me?’ You run through all those things.”

Although the Renfield actor was “hesitant about going through” an audition course of like that once more, Hoult credited Gunn for making the audition course of for Superman a lot smoother. “James Gunn is such a fantastic director and I was so excited by what he was building at DC,” Hoult defined. “When we spoke — because they knew I had been through [the Batman] process — they didn’t want me to necessarily have to go through that again. That was very kind of them. There was an element of them being like, ‘We like you as an actor. We want you to be in this world.’”
