Wicked fans are in for a treat this holiday season as a new sing-along version of the soundtrack has been released. The sing-along version of Wicked: The Soundtrack features all 11 tracks without the lead vocals, maintaining the original orchestra and background vocals. This exciting release, distributed digitally by Universal Pictures, Republic Records, and Verve Records, allows fans to channel their inner lead vocalists and belt out their favorite Wicked songs.
The new album arrives just in time for sing-along screenings of the film in over 1,000 cinemas across the United States, Canada, and select international markets, starting on December 25th. These screenings will include onscreen lyrics and a special introduction from Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The success of the soundtrack mirrors that of the film, with Wicked making Billboard history as the highest debut for a theatrical adaptation of a stage musical and boasting the biggest sales week for any soundtrack this decade.
