In 2025, Netflix is saying goodbye to popular shows like “Stranger Things,” “Squid Game,” and “You,” but there is also a lot of exciting new content coming, including the highly anticipated series “The Four Seasons.”
Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield have teamed up to create a new limited series based on the 1981 film of the same name. This eight-episode show follows three couples who are long-time friends, but their dynamic is thrown off when one of the pairs announces they are splitting up.
“The Four Seasons” follows six old friends who head out for a relaxing weekend getaway only to discover that one couple in the group is breaking up. Over the course of a year and four vacations, we see how this news impacts everyone’s relationships, bringing both old issues and new challenges to the surface. Co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, this series is a humorous and heartfelt tribute to long marriages and enduring friendships.
Starring Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, Colman Domingo, and Steve Carell, “The Four Seasons” is set to premiere on Netflix on May 1. The series is produced by Little Stranger Inc and features Fey, Fisher, and Wigfield as co-creators, co-showrunners, executive producers, and writers. Fisher also serves as a director on the show, with additional executive producers including David Miner, Jeff Richmond, and Eric Gurian.
