NBCUniversal‘s head of range, fairness and inclusion for TV programming is transferring up the chief ladder.
Jeanne Mau has been promoted to government vp for TV programming DEI on the firm. She had been on the senior vp degree since becoming a member of NBCU in 2021. Mau will proceed to report to Common Studio Group chairman Pearlena Igbokwe and NBCU Leisure chairman Frances Berwick.
“Over the past three years, Jeanne has systematically expanded and elevated our inclusion efforts in television. She has introduced us to new voices in front of and behind the camera and become an invaluable resource to our showrunners and internal creative teams,” Igbokwe and Berwick mentioned in a press release. “We remain committed to our principles and, as we look to the future, Jeanne will continue to serve a critical role in our business by supporting our goal of producing compelling content that appeals to global audiences.”
Throughout her time at NBCUniversal, Mau has sheperded the corporate’s NBCU Launch initiative, which brings collectively range and inclusion efforts throughout NBCU’s linear networks, Peacock streaming service and the studio group. She additionally up to date the corporate’s writing and directing packages and launched the primary main inclusion efforts in unscripted programming at NBCU.
Prior to becoming a member of NBCUniversal, Mau spent 20 years at CBS, rising to senior vp range and inclusion. She can also be an advisory board member for the Alliance of Girls Administrators.
