Marvel Studios executive Nate Moore will be leaving the studio to pursue producing opportunities in the upcoming year, as announced by the company on Tuesday.
Moore will remain with Marvel Studios until mid-March and the release of “Captain America: Brave New World,” a project he is currently producing. He is also set to produce “Black Panther 3” for Marvel Studios.
In a statement to TheWrap, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito praised Moore as a fantastic executive, colleague, and friend, highlighting his significant impact on the storytelling at Marvel Studios. They expressed excitement about working with Moore in a new capacity on the upcoming “Black Panther” movie.
Reflecting on his time at Marvel Studios, Moore stated that he learned everything he knows about producing from his experience there. He expressed his enthusiasm for applying his knowledge and passion for film to various genres of theatrical movies, including his return to the world of Wakanda for “Black Panther 3.”
Moore has been an integral part of Marvel Studios since 2010, known for his work on producing the highly successful “Black Panther” in 2018, which grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide and received critical acclaim. He has also been involved in producing “Eternals” in 2021 and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in 2022, as well as serving as an executive producer for “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” on Disney+.
Prior to his tenure at Marvel Studios, Moore was a founding employee at Participant Media. His extensive experience includes working on projects like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: Civil War,” and contributing to the development of the script for “Guardians of the Galaxy” through the Marvel Writers’ Program.
