The Day of the Jackal (1973)
I recently watched The Day of the Jackal (1973) and I loved it but specifically what I loved the most is how professional and realistic-feeling the movie felt. The Majority of the movie is spent watching an assassin carefuly preparing, scouting, tracking, changing his appearance, faking his identity, customizing equipment (his gun), all the while he is cleaning his own track.
Are there more movies that are sort of day-in-the-life(esque), for the lack of a better description, where the camera follows a character that is incredibly competent and meticulous doing his unique job?
