‘Love Island USA’ star Serena Page Hints Engagement is the ‘Next Step’ in Her Romance with Kordell Beckham
Serena Page is taking her relationship with Love Island USA co-winner Kordell Beckham one step at a time. The 25-year-old Houston native revealed to PEOPLE that regardless of the whirlwind of romance on the present, the couple is now having fun with a slower tempo.
“We’re progressing in our relationship, but we’re trying to move at the pace that a normal relationship would and not as fast as it does in the villa,” Serena shared.
Two months after their time in Fiji, Serena and Kordell, 22, are formally boyfriend and girlfriend. Nevertheless, she made it clear they’re in no rush for greater milestones. “We’re able to just come out and slow things down a bit,” she defined. Serena added that residing collectively isn’t on the desk simply but: “Living together is not the next step. My finger’s still empty,” she joked, pointing to her naked ring finger.
Serena additional emphasised that the subsequent step, when it does come, will probably be engagement. “No apartment. There’s none of that. The next step would be engagement,” she revealed.
“And we need some time for that.” With fun, she pointed to her finger once more and mentioned, “This is naked. It is nothing. This is my apartment. My finger’s empty, and so is my apartment. I can live with you when we’re engaged.”
Since leaving the present, life has been transferring quick for the former media planner, who now finds herself touring rather more than earlier than. “I’m definitely traveling more now since I didn’t travel much at all before,” Serena mirrored.
“I was working seven days a week. I was a workaholic. Now I’m having a little breather. Obviously, not much of a breather because I’m [traveling] all over the world.”
One main change Serena is nonetheless adjusting to is her new relationship standing. “I mean also having a boyfriend. Haven’t had one in a minute,” she admitted with a smile.
