Lana Del Rey is the most recent musician to launch a cover tune for Jack Antonoff’s The Makeover soundtrack. Her payment is Irving Berlin’s 1920s tune “Blue Skies.” Listen to the brand-new track listed below.
Del Rey’s “Blue Skies” adheres to the 1975’s “Now Is the Hour” and Florence and the Maker’s “White Cliffs of Dover.” The Makeover, developed by Todd A. Kessler, premieres today (February 14) on Apple Television+.
Del Rey has a fabled joint connection with manufacturer Jack Antonoff– that simply won the 2024 Grammy Honor for Manufacturer of the Year, Non-Classical, partly, because of his work with Did You Know That There’s a Passage Under Sea Blvd– and both evidently interacted once again on a brand-new task: the nation cd Lasso. “If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening,” Del Rey stated just recently. “That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”
