Miles Teller recently shared that his wife Keleigh Sperry will not be joining Taylor Swift at the upcoming Super Bowl LIX. The game is set to happen at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025. This year’s championship game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs, the current defending Super Bowl champions, facing off against the NFC champions Philadelphia Eagles.
Find out why Keleigh Sperry and Miles Teller won’t be attending the 2025 Super Bowl with Taylor Swift.
Why is Keleigh Sperry not attending the Super Bowl?
Miles Teller confirmed that he and his wife Keleigh Sperry will be at the Super Bowl but won’t be on Taylor Swift’s side this time. While promoting his latest project, The Gorge on Apple TV Plus, Teller revealed to PEOPLE that they will be rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles this year. This means they won’t be supporting Travis Kelce and the Chiefs. Miles mentioned that his wife is a dedicated Eagles fan.
“When I attended the Chiefs’ last Super Bowl, they weren’t playing the Eagles,” Teller quipped. “She may be from Southern California, but once you marry into Philadelphia sports, that’s it.”
The couple had previously attended the 2024 Super Bowl with Taylor Swift and her friends. The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious that year against the San Francisco 49ers, with Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce celebrating the win with his girlfriend, the pop star.
The event was held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with other notable personalities in attendance with Swift such as Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, Blake Lively, Ashley Avignone, and Jason Kelce.
