Jarrett “JT” Thomas isn’t letting his feud with Venita Aspen die down.
After Venita, 31, claimed she spent $5,000 on him before realizing he had a girlfriend, the 39-year-old Southern Charm star fired back by sharing receipts—literally. Jarrett took to Instagram on March 17, posting a video from April 2024 that showed Venita Aspen dining with him, his mother, his sister, and his girlfriend, Ali Pereless, weeks before filming allegedly started.
“The good old days.. enjoyed filming with my mom and sister and introducing them to my then-new gf Ali. Glad Venita was able to join us for a fun meal,” he captioned the clip, tagging their restaurant, Chez Nous.
Jarrett also posted a text from Venita sent the day after their dinner, saying, “You forgot to leave your card for the table.” He credited her for snapping a photo of him with his family and Ali, seemingly proving that Venita knew about his relationship long before her claims.
On top of that, Jarrett posted a screenshot of an Us Weekly article in which he denied Venita’s $5,000 claim and showed proof of a $4,054.48 PayPal transfer he sent her after she covered a bill.
“I guess be careful what you wish for..” he wrote, adding a crying-laughing emoji.
Before the recent $5,000 dispute, the dynamics among Southern Charm stars Jarrett Thomas, Venita Aspen, and Ali Pereless were notably complex. Venita and Jarrett shared a close friendship that flirted with romantic undertones.
Venita expressed feelings for JT, but was blindsided when he publicly introduced Ali as his girlfriend in October 2024, coinciding with the release of the show’s trailer.
Complicating matters, Jarrett shared a video from April 2024 showing Venita dining with him, his family, and Ali, suggesting she was aware of his relationship earlier than claimed. This intricate web of relationships set the stage for the ensuing financial disagreement.
