Actor Joshua Jackson remains optimistic despite losing his home in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Jackson expressed gratitude for the safety of his loved ones, including his daughter, family, and neighbors who all escaped unharmed. Although his Topanga Canyon home, purchased in 2001, was destroyed by the Palisades Fire, Jackson feels fortunate to be surrounded by those he cares for.
The Palisades Fire erupted on Tuesday morning and has already scorched approximately 23,000 acres. Tragically, the fires have claimed at least 24 lives, with 16 individuals still missing. Efforts to contain the blazes, including the Palisades Fire near Brentwood and the Eaton Fire, have seen progress with 11% and 27% containment, respectively, as of Sunday morning.
Jackson is not the only celebrity who has suffered home losses due to the wildfires. Mandy Moore, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, and several other Hollywood figures have also seen their properties destroyed. Reports indicate that homes belonging to Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Eugene Levy, and John Goodman have also been damaged, with further confirmation pending from their representatives.
