Jim Legxacy is again with new music. Watch the video for new monitor “Aggressive” beneath. It marks the British multi-hyphenate’s debut for XL Recordings, after a string of self-releases, together with final 12 months’s breakout monitor “Old Place.” The video, directed by Fidel, was shot on Blackberry.
“Aggressive” follows Legxacy’s July single “Nothings Changed (!).” He co-produced the brand new track with AOD, Joe Stanley, and Tendai. The monitor samples British rapper Chipmunk’s 2009 single “Oopsy Daisy.”
Subsequent 12 months, Legxacy plans to launch a mixtape referred to as Black British Music (2024). Examine his 2023 file, Homeless N***a Pop Music, in Pitchfork’s rundown of “The 100 Best Albums of the 2020s So Far.”
