Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in “The Bear,” is set to join the “Star Wars” universe by voicing Rotta the Hutt in the upcoming film “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” Rotta, the son of Jabba the Hutt, is making his return in this film. White’s voice role in the movie is highly anticipated.
White’s previous work on shows like “Shameless” and “The Bear” has garnered him a strong fan base. His upcoming portrayal of Bruce Springsteen in Scott Cooper’s film, “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” is also generating excitement among fans.
Directed by Jon Favreau and co-written by Dave Filoni, “The Mandalorian and Grogu” is the first “Star Wars” film to hit theaters since 2019. The movie is scheduled for release on May 22, 2026.
