Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and production giant Fremantle have signed a new five-year agreement, extending their partnership that has spanned over two decades. Fremantle has been Oliver’s TV distribution partner since 2002, distributing his content to over 200 territories worldwide.
Currently, Fremantle distributes 83 Jamie Oliver series and formats to more than 100 clients, with over 15 million hours of content streamed to 7 million users in the U.S. alone. The new deal grants Fremantle global rights to Jamie Oliver’s TV distribution, AVOD, FAST, and digital platforms, with a focus on expanding his digital footprint and reaching new audiences.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Both parties expressed excitement about the partnership, with Fremantle looking forward to expanding their offerings across various platforms and Jamie Oliver Group aiming to increase Oliver’s profile in priority territories through FAST channels, YouTube, AVOD, and traditional broadcast platforms.
