Birthed in Greece and elevated in Upstate New York, Iasos finished from Cornell College and transferred to Berkeley, The golden state quickly after. There, he participated in the area’s psychedelic music scene. Iasos has stated that while participating in Cornell College in the late 1960s, he started hearing what he called “paradise music” in his head.
He specified heaven music, which he likewise called inter-dimensional music, as an “Earth reproduction of music that exists here and now in other dimensions.” He strongly thought the noises he listened to in his head were actual transmissions from a getting on a various airplane called View.
“Around ’67 or ’68, I just started hearing it in my head,” Iasos stated in a 1979 docudrama. “I didn’t know where it was coming from, it was like a radio station inside. So I’d be running around listening to it and loving it. That happened for a few years. And then around 1973, I had a profound experience where I sensed a particular being from a higher dimension and I knew in that instant that he was one that all this time that had been purposely, mind to mind, transmitting into my mind. And I also remembered him from before I was born. I realize it’s hard for you to believe, but at least I’m telling you what I believe and you’re free to handle that reality any way you like.”
Iasos started producing some of the earliest new age jobs by using digital impacts on acoustic tools, like slide guitars with responses loopholes, compressors, and an Echoplex. He was originally immune to very early synthesizers. “I couldn’t stand the way they sounded,” he stated in 2011. “It was very cold, sterile, inorganic, didn’t turn me on at all.” That transformed when he came to be attracted with the RMI Key-board Computer System.
His very first cd, Inter-Dimensional Music, was launched in 1975; that exact same year, he played electrical groove on an additional introducing new age cd, Steven Halpern’s Range Collection. Throughout years, he launched loads of music with titles like Crystal Love, Jeweled Room, and Worlds of Light. His newest item was “The Garden of Salathooslia,” which was launched in September.
