Hollywood Stars Unite for Wildfire Relief Benefit Concert
Hayley Williams, Finneas, St. Vincent, and more talented artists are gearing up to perform at an upcoming wildfire relief benefit concert in Los Angeles. The event, called Gve A Fck L.A., is scheduled to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on February 5th and will be hosted by John C. Reilly. The star-studded lineup includes Christopher Owens, Courtney Barnett, Fred Armisen, Jenny Lewis, Kevin Morby, Lucy Dacus, and many others, along with special guests. The event will kick off with DJ sets by Fat Tony and Harmony Tividad.
The concert organizers have pledged to donate 100% of the net proceeds from ticket sales to local L.A. organizations supporting those affected by the wildfires, such as Altadena Girls, Friends in Deed, and the Pasadena Humane Society. Additionally, all venue and ticketing service fees will be waived for the event.
In partnership with Maggie Baird’s Support + Feed program, a plant-based food drive will also be held at the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring plant-based canned goods and non-perishable items for donation.
Gve A Fck L.A. is presented by Milk Makeup and has received support from various organizations, including UTA, Fly South Music Group, and Live Nation. This benefit concert is part of a larger effort within the music industry to support wildfire relief in Los Angeles. Leading music companies like Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and Spotify have canceled their pre- and post-Grammy events to redirect their resources towards wildfire relief efforts.
In addition to Gve A Fck L.A., other wildfire relief concerts, such as FireAid featuring artists like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and Green Day, are set to take place in the coming weeks. Tickets for Gve A Fck L.A. will go on sale on January 28th, with the option for fans to live-stream the event with a minimum $5 donation. Get ready to join Hollywood’s finest for a heartwarming evening in support of a great cause.
