Hallmark fans will be thrilled to hear that the network is giving them an early Christmas present. They have decided to release all of their 2024 Countdown To Christmas and Miracles Of Christmas movies on the newly rebranded Hallmark+ streaming channel. This is a significant change from their original plan to wait 6-9 months before releasing new movies.
But that’s not the only update. Hallmark made another major change by streaming their 2025 linear movies on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. Here are all the exciting details.
Hallmark Releasing 2024 Christmas Movies To Streaming Channel
According to Variety, Hallmark+ is making some major changes by now offering all holiday movies available on the streaming channel. This means that subscribers can enjoy over 40 movies that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. Some of the titles include “Following Yonder Star,” “The Christmas Quest,” “Five Gold Rings,” “All I Need For Christmas,” and many more. Additionally, three movies featuring When Calls The Heart stars will also be available for streaming.
Moreover, starting this Friday, 24 more Christmas movies will be added to the streaming channel, including “Trading Up Christmas,” “The Santa Class,” “Hanukkah On The Rocks,” and “Leah’s Perfect Gift,” among others.
Hallmark Channel Changes When Movies On Linear Channels Go To Streaming
Looking ahead to 2025, Hallmark will now make all new original movies that air on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery available for streaming the next day. This is a shift from their previous strategy, and fans can expect more original content to be available for streaming. Currently, Hallmark Mystery will air “The Jane Mysteries: Inheritance Lost” on January 9th at 8 p.m. Eastern time, after its original release on Hallmark+. There is more mystery content to come, so stay tuned for updates.
