“I think it is the most critical situation we’ve faced so far in the manned space flight program.” Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a documentary movie titled Apollo 13: Survival, a gripping take a look at the true story of what actually occurred on Apollo 13 in the spring of 1970. This premiered at CPH:DOX and it will likely be streaming on Netflix in early September to look at. Simply 9 months after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, NASA confronted its biggest disaster — three astronauts stranded midway to the moon on a spacecraft that had suffered a catastrophic explosion. Utilizing unique footage and interviews, this documentary tells the nail-biting story of Apollo 13 and the wrestle to carry its astronauts safely dwelling. Everybody is aware of the well-known Apollo 13 film starring Tom Hanks & Invoice Paxton (from 1995 – which is one in all my favorites), however this doc options actual footage and tells the actual story. It is just like the cinematic Apollo 11 doc, however telling this extra horrifying story of how they introduced these three astronauts dwelling after a catastrophe in house. A should see. 🚀

It is produced by Hugh Davies & Clive Patterson. This primary premiered at the 2024 CPH:DOX Movie Competition earlier this 12 months.
