Elon Musk’s Dad Criticizes Him for Parenting Choices Amid 13th Child Drama
Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, recently shared his views on the Wide Awake podcast, criticizing the billionaire’s parenting approach. Just days before author Ashley St. Clair claimed to have given birth to Elon’s 13th child, Errol, 79, expressed his concerns about Elon’s parenting style.
“He hasn’t been a good dad,” Errol said in a TikTok clip from the podcast. “The first child was too much with nannies and died in the care of a nanny.”
Elon’s first child with ex-wife Justine Wilson, their son Nevada, tragically passed away in 2002 at just 10 weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Errol’s Concerns About Elon’s Parenting
Despite potential backlash, Errol stood by his statements, expressing his worries about Elon’s distant relationship with his children. “Elon’s gonna shoot me for saying this, but that’s what I think. That’s no good. They were too rich, too many nannies,” he claimed.
According to Errol, each of Elon and Wilson’s five surviving children had their own nanny, even after their divorce. He described the situation as unusual with multiple nannies for each child.
“When they got divorced [in 2008], the nannies were six on this side and six on that side,” Errol added. “It was a really weird situation.”
During the podcast, Errol emphasized that Elon did not spend enough time with his children, echoing his concerns about Elon’s parenting choices.
Public Response and Social Media Backlash
Following Errol’s comments on the podcast, TikTok users criticized his statements, pointing out what they perceived as hypocrisy given his own controversial past, including fathering a child with his former stepdaughter.
