New Details Emerge in the Tragic Death of Brett Gardner’s Son in Costa Rica
Tragic news has come to light regarding the unexpected passing of 14-year-old Miller Gardner, the son of former New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner. The young boy tragically met his untimely demise while on a family vacation in Costa Rica on March 21.
A medical team at Manuel Antonio Urgent Care and Quepos Urgent Care responded to the emergency at Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort, where the Gardner family was staying. Despite their efforts, Miller was unresponsive and the team performed CPR for over 30 minutes but sadly could not save him.
Dr. Kevin Gannon confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that Miller had no vital signs upon arrival and was clinically dead when the medical team reached him. While the exact cause of death is still under investigation, Miller and his family were reportedly experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms during the trip.
A representative for the resort where the tragedy occurred confirmed that the family did not dine on-site and that the property had recently passed a health inspection with a high score. Meanwhile, Costa Rican officials have ruled out asphyxiation as the cause of Miller’s death, and an autopsy has been delayed due to the country’s surge in gang violence.
It is a devastating loss for the Gardner family, and our hearts go out to them during this difficult time. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.
