“‘Waxcap’ initially began as a solo piano improvisation, but later on, I revisited the recording to expand it into a complete track,” Djrum shared in a press release. “During that time, I spent a lot of time walking in the fields and forests near my home, where I stumbled upon many waxcap mushrooms, especially snowy waxcaps.”
Under Tangled Silence, Djrum’s highly anticipated follow-up to his acclaimed Meaning’s Edge EP, is set to be released on April 25.
