The African American Film Critics Association exposed on Thursday that it has actually coordinated with Delta Air Lines to curate a collection of movies celebrating Black History Month.
The flicks in the collection consist of If Beale Road Might Talk, The 5 Heart Beats, Dreamgirls, Shaft, The Most Effective Male, Institution Daze, Friday, Beloved White Individuals, Crooklyn, The Timber, Sarafina! and extra. The movies will certainly be offered in-flight for Delta consumers.
“In-flight movies offer a great way to discover titles that were previously unknown to me,” claims AAFCA head of state Gil Robertson.“Over the years, I have been introduced to phenomenal stories that broadened my point of view about different people and cultures from around the world. It is my hope that Delta passengers will enjoy a similar experience from our collection, which provides a showcase for the richness of Black-themed stories.”
The AAFCA, the biggest team of Black film critics around the world, stated it collaborated with Delta’s in-flight enjoyment team and BOLD, Delta’s Black Neighborhood Service Source Team, to pick movies that incorporate a variety of styles and stories.
“Delta seeks to be a champion of diversity through meaningful in-flight entertainment content and elevate the onboard offering with thoughtful, value-driven curation,” claims Catherine McDaniel, lead material manager of flicks for Delta Workshop.“Delta is thrilled to partner with AAFCA for this special collection to help us highlight underrepresented voices during Black History Month, and all year round.”
The collection is readied to debut in very early February and will certainly be offered on Delta trips throughout the month.
