Chris Pratt assures fans that Star-Lord will make a comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At the conclusion of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, a note hinted at the return of Star-Lord. Although Chris Pratt has not reappeared as Star-Lord yet, he has expressed confidence in reprising the role, possibly in upcoming Avengers films like Doomsday and/or Secret Wars.
During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Pratt remained ambiguous about his involvement in the new Avengers movies, mentioning that Star-Lord’s return was promised at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. He humorously added, “I feel like there’s a Marvel sniper somewhere. I will say no more.“

Director James Gunn has teased a potential Star-Lord movie exploring the hero’s adjustment to life on Earth. Pratt is set to co-star with Millie Bobby Brown in The Electric State, a sci-fi adventure directed by the creators of Avengers: Endgame. The film follows Michelle, played by Brown, as she teams up with smuggler Keats, portrayed by Pratt, on a journey to find her missing brother in a world inhabited by sentient robots.
The Electric State will premiere on Netflix on March 14th.
