Yvette Nicole Brown, known for her role as Helen Dubois on the hit Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh, credits her young co-stars for helping her hone her acting skills. In a recent interview with People, Brown revealed that her first acting teachers were actually her co-stars Drake Bell, Josh Peck, and Miranda Cosgrove.
“It was amazing to see Drake, Josh, and Miranda be so amazing at such young ages,” Brown explained. “I was just starting out as an actor, so I was really learning and studying these babies and learning how they were moving on these sets.”
Drake & Josh, which aired from 2004 to 2007, followed the story of stepbrothers with clashing personalities navigating high school and family life. Brown recently had a reunion with Josh Peck on his Good Guys podcast, where they reminisced about their time on the show.
Looking towards the future, Bell expressed interest in a Drake & Josh reboot with Peck. “I have a special place in my heart for Drake & Josh, and I would love to revisit the character,” Bell mentioned. “My dream is to do something like Curb Your Enthusiasm, where we’re playing ourselves but navigating life today.”
For fans of Drake & Josh, the possibility of a reboot with the original cast is something to look forward to. Stay tuned for more updates on a potential revival of this beloved show.
