Is Celine Dion Dead At 55?
As fans who have been following Celine Dion’s health journey know, she issued a statement in December of last year confirming she had been diagnosed with a neurological disorder called stiff person syndrome. A year prior to receiving this diagnosis, she told her fans she was struggling with “severe and persistent muscle spasms.”
According to Hello Magazine, Celine Dion’s sister updated the world on her sister’s health struggles earlier this month. It was during an appearance on the Quebec TV show called Bonsoir Bonsoir, that Celine’s sister gave the singer’s fans an update on what was going on.
“We’re all crossing our fingers, and I’m glad people are concerned. She is working hard, and we are confident that we will succeed. It can’t be a story like this.”

So, Was It Just a Hoax?
According to The Sun, TikTok is to blame for Celine Dion’s death trending. A few different videos claimed the singer may have passed away after she appeared to drop off of the grid. On Twitter, many tweets have been popping up in the past few days with individuals claiming their parents bought into the claims that Celine had passed away because of TikTok.
As fans know, Celine made the difficult decision to cancel her tour because she needed to focus on her health and well-being.
Fortunately, it does not appear as if there is any real reason for fans of Celine Dion to be concerned the singer has actually passed away. In fact, The Sun goes on to affirm the singer is alive and simply the victim of a celebrity death hoax.
