Bodycam footage from Britney Spears‘ September traffic stop has been released, and it shows her pleading with a California Highway Patrol officer to be let off for speeding!
Spears was stopped twice in a matter of a couple weeks — back on September 10, and then again on October 6 — and as we know now, it was by the same CHP officer in nearly the same stretch of road! Yeesh!

Per Law & Crime Network, which obtained the bodycam footage from one of the stops and posted it to YouTube on Monday afternoon, Spears can be seen asking for forgiveness from the officer after he claims to have caught her doing more than 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. He asks for her license, insurance, and registration — pretty standard. The problem is that Spears has none of it in the car with her, as she explains:
“My license actually is with my security at home. I don’t have it with me right now at this moment. I’m so sorry, but it’s like, ten minutes away.”
Then, she begs for leniency:
“I’m so, so sorry, please forgive me.”
But the officer points out how he actually gave Spears a break the first time she was speeding, too:
“I gave you a break last time.”
Damn!
During the second speeding incident, he tells the Toxic singer she was stopped after crossing the double-yellow lines. She explained that even though she doesn’t have her license, she had to pee, and that’s why she was going fast and driving erratically:
“My security at my house has my passport and my driver’s license. I just flew in from Mexico. … I just have to use the bathroom. It’s about to come out right now. I’m so sorry.”
