A new F1 Super Bowl trailer was unveiled during the big game for Apple’s upcoming racing movie featuring Brad Pitt. Scheduled for a 2025 release, the film also stars Lewis Hamilton, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, and more, with direction by Joseph Kosinski of Top Gun: Maverick.
The highly anticipated Formula 1 racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver making a comeback in Formula 1, with Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. Shot during actual Grand Prix weekends, the team competes against the top names in the sport.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, Only the Brave, Top Gun: Maverick, and Spiderhead, the film also features Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and more.
Written by Ehren Kruger, F1 is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment, and Dawn Apollo Films. Scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States and IMAX on June 27, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
