Krysten Ritter has landed a recurring role in the upcoming series Dexter: Resurrection, where she will go head to head with Michael C. Hall. According to Deadline, Ritter will play the character of Mia Lapierre, a renowned sommelier who also happens to be the ‘Lady Vengeance’ serial killer.
Ritter recently teased her involvement in the series on Instagram, hinting at a possible return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again. However, it seems that she will first be seen in Dexter: Resurrection, set in New York City.
Dexter: Resurrection picks up where Dexter: New Blood left off, with Hall reprising his role as the titular serial killer. The cast also includes original members David Zayas and James Remar, along with new faces like Uma Thurman and Peter Dinklage.
In a statement, Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global co-CEO, expressed excitement for Hall’s return as Dexter Morgan, calling it a thrilling moment for fans of the series. Dexter: Resurrection is set to premiere this summer.
