Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 announced as headliners for Glastonbury 2025
Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 have been confirmed as headliners for Glastonbury 2025. The highly-anticipated music festival will take place from June 25-29 at Worthy Farm in Somerset, UK.
Matty Healy and his band, The 1975, will be gracing the Pyramid stage on Friday, while Olivia Rodrigo, the “Guts” singer, will be performing on Sunday. Joining them on the lineup are Neil Young, Charli XCX, Noah Kahan, The Prodigy, Raye, Loyle Carner, Gracie Abrams, and more. Rod Stewart has also secured the festival’s Legends slot.
This will mark the first headline performance at Glastonbury for both Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975. Olivia Rodrigo rose to fame with her debut album “Sour,” featuring hit songs like “Driver’s License” and “Good 4 U.” The 1975, a British pop rock band led by Matty Healy, are known for hits such as “Somebody Else” and “Chocolate.”
Earlier this year, Neil Young initially pulled out of playing Glastonbury citing concerns over corporate control by the BBC, but later reversed his decision due to a misunderstanding. Rumors of Rihanna or Harry Styles performing at Glastonbury have not been confirmed.
