The highly anticipated third season of “Euphoria” has officially started filming in Los Angeles after almost three years since the season two finale aired. Sam Levinson is once again at the helm of this popular HBO series as it comes to a close. Fans can rejoice as the main cast members, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow, are all set to return for the new season.
New additions to the cast for season three include pop star Rosalía, actor Marshawn Lynch, and television icon Kadeem Hardison, along with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten in various roles.
Unfortunately, some familiar faces will not be returning for the new season. Angus Cloud passed away in 2023, while Storm Reid and Barbie Ferreira have confirmed their absence due to scheduling conflicts and creative differences with Levinson. Other cast members, including Austin Abrams, Algee Smith, and Nika King, will also not be reprising their roles.
The future of Dominic Fike’s return to the series remains uncertain. Despite the changes in the cast, “Euphoria” remains one of HBO’s most acclaimed series, with nine Emmy Awards and 25 nominations to its name.
Fans can expect the return of “Euphoria” for its third season on HBO and MAX in 2026.
