Paul Thomas Anderson is gearing up for his biggest project yet, a $115 million Warner Bros. summer tentpole featuring A-list stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Regina Hall. Titled One Battle After Another, the film is a modern adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s novel Vineland, with a focus on white supremacists and intense action sequences.

Recently, the film held its first test screening in Phoenix, Arizona, with Anderson in attendance. Early reports from attendees suggest that the film is nearly finished and promises to be a thrilling ride with an emphasis on action and car chases. The film’s score, composed by Jonny Greenwood, is described as chilling yet epic with techno elements.
