Paris Hilton and her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact have successfully raised $800,000 for Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts. The media personality and businesswoman, who recently lost her Malibu home in the Palisades Fire, quickly launched an emergency fund to support displaced families with young children. Within just 72 hours, the fund reached an impressive $800,000 in donations.
In addition to this, Hilton has also pledged a $150,000 grant to GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund, specifically to assist 150 displaced families in Altadena due to the Eaton Fire. Through her Instagram post, Hilton expressed her empathy as a mother and her commitment to helping those in need during such challenging times.
The donations raised will be directed towards various relief efforts, including supporting families through the emergency relief organization CORE, providing short-term housing and essential supplies to evacuees, and assisting local animal shelters. Hilton has also been actively volunteering at organizations like Baby2Baby and the Pasadena Humane Society, as well as fostering a dog named Zuzu who was surrendered due to the Eaton Fire.
Despite the devastation of losing her own home, Hilton remains dedicated to supporting others who have also experienced similar losses. She acknowledges the emotional toll of losing cherished memories and emphasizes the importance of coming together to rebuild and support one another during this difficult time.
