Craig Conover Reveals Plans for Marriage with Paige DeSorbo Before Breakup
Craig Conover from Southern Charm had big plans for a future with Paige DeSorbo from Summer House until their recent split. Fans are now curious about who initiated the breakup between Paige and Craig as the couple seemed to be heading towards marriage.
In early December, Craig, 35, spoke to PEOPLE about his sobriety journey and his desire to be a better partner for Paige. Despite dating since 2021, things took a turn as Craig shared his vision for their future.
“We have a long-term plan in mind,” Craig revealed. “We want to build a solid foundation for a lifetime together, not just a temporary romance.”
Craig spoke about their future together, stating, “We are certain that we will marry someday, and when the time comes, it will be joyful. But for now, we are focused on living in the present moment and enjoying life without added pressure.”
Despite the distance between them—Paige in New York City and Craig in Charleston—the couple worked hard to nurture their bond amidst the challenges.
“Our goal is to be present for our future children as much as possible,” Craig explained. “We believe that finding the right person is the hard part, and the rest will fall into place when the time is right.”
Their relationship was documented on various Bravo shows, showing their journey from friends to partners. Craig mentioned the importance of staying grounded despite their public exposure, stating, “While we open up our lives to others, it’s essential to ignore the outside noise.”
By the end of December, Paige revealed on her podcast Giggly Squad that they had decided to part ways. She expressed surprise over the breakup and praised Craig as “the best boyfriend I’ve ever had.” She clarified that the split was mutual and cordial, with no hard feelings between them.
