Ciara Miller Opens Up About Relationship Status With Ex West Wilson Amid Summer House Drama
Ciara Miller is setting boundaries and distancing herself from ex-boyfriend and Summer House co-star, West Wilson, as tensions rise on set.
“Presently, we don’t have a relationship, and that has remained consistent throughout the summer,” Ciara, 28, exclusively shared with Us Weekly during Bravo Fan Fest in Miami on November 23. “I don’t believe we are in a place where we need to be friends. It’s more about coexisting.”
Ciara is now focused on her independence and enjoying the single life. “At the moment, I’m not actively seeking a relationship,” she revealed.
“I’m focused on myself, my career, my job, and [my cat] Jasper. If someone who is emotionally intelligent, available, and worthwhile catches my eye, then maybe I’ll consider it,” she added.
Ciara Miller and West Wilson’s relationship, which began during the filming of Summer House Season 8, extended into the fall of 2023. However, by December 2023, the couple decided to go their separate ways. At the Season 8 reunion, West cited concerns about the challenges of a public relationship as a factor in their breakup.
His discomfort with the attention their relationship garnered led him to question his role in the public eye, expressing, “I noticed that we were constantly referred to as ‘Ciara and newbie.’ Am I just going to be a person who joined the show and remains in Ciara’s shadow?”
On the flip side, Ciara felt deceived by West’s behavior.
She accused him of using the show’s dynamics as an excuse to avoid commitment, pointing out that they had taken significant steps together, such as meeting his family and attending a wedding.
The emotional aftermath of their breakup was palpable during the reunion, with Ciara expressing her pain over the situation.
